The Gen 3 Fantail 270 Awning is engineered to go the distance. Featuring a full 2.5m stowed length and 11.5m² of coverage, this awning is free-standing, fast to deploy, and built with real-world adventure in mind.

A full structural redesign brings stronger, smarter hardware to this latest model. From custom truss-style arms to a 4mm stainless steel hinge system, every element is designed to withstand demanding conditions. The grey 320gsm ripstop polyester canvas is PU coated, UV 50+ rated, and fully seam sealed—delivering guaranteed waterproofing and long-term durability without the downsides of polycotton.

Three built-in LED lights (white/amber selectable) are touch-dimmable for full control, helping reduce bugs and manage power consumption on the go. The included power pouch connects to a power bank, aux battery, or starter battery via USB and cig plug input.

Rainy days? No problem. Two pop-up support poles and three rain valley tie points improve water run-off during heavy weather. The upgraded rope ratchets are now fully aluminium (no plastic), while the pole legs feature thicker tube walls for improved rigidity. A 1000D travel cover and NZ-based assembly and quality control round out a truly premium build.
